Scott Ferguson raced in NASA's multiclass championship during 2008, competing in the Spec E30 class driving a spec BMW E30 3-series. He was a developing-level amateur, racing solo against a field that ranged from other club entrants to graded professionals.[1]
Ferguson completed one season of six starts across 2008 and finished 37th in the final championship standings. He typically finished behind his regular opponents Michael Skeen, an entry-level professional with extensive NASA experience, and Chris Cobetto, a club-level driver who was a NASA regular. He finished ahead of John Bennett, a professional who has raced GB3, Formula 2 and NASA, on two occasions, and ahead of David Herrington, a competitive amateur with significant NASA and international GT racing, once.[2]
