🇬🇧 Richard Meaden

Richard Meaden is a semi-professional driver competing in multiclass endurance racing. He races in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a German championship where modified production-based SP 8 cars share the track with fourteen other classes in a mixed field of amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals. Meaden drove for Aston Martin Test Centre Aston, an established team that fielded him for three of his four starts across the series.[1]

Meaden's indexed career spans four seasons from 2010 to 2013 in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, with a single win and two podiums from four starts. He finished 23rd in the 2013 season standings. The calibre of his peers was mixed; he typically finished behind Wolfgang Schuhbauer, a semi-professional regular in the series with 33 starts, and Takayuki Kinoshita, an entry-level professional with significant experience in German endurance racing and the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Meaden beat the established professional Alexander Mattschull, a 2022 Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion with extensive racing across multiple continents, at least once.[2]
