Rob O'Donnell is a developing amateur racer who competed in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass championship run across multiple Porsche classes and run entirely in the USA. He raced an F-class Porsche for five seasons between 2012 and 2016, taking one win and seven podiums from 29 starts before retiring from the sport.[1]
O'Donnell's record was centred on consistent mid-field finishes in a field mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals. He finished seventh in the 2016 championship standings, his final season, with three podiums across the seven rounds raced. He was regularly competitive against club-level drivers, closely matched with Harry Kintzi over their time as repeated opponents and usually finishing behind James Clemens, who had significantly more racing experience. O'Donnell beat entry-level professional Attilio Albani twice across their meetings and took a single win ahead of fellow club racer Hadley Bos-Fisher.[2]
