Ron Rhead races in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass championship where amateurs and professionals share the track in shared-driver endurance races. Rhead races as a club-level driver against a field of similar competitors and stronger professionals. He runs regularly against Michael Koepke, the 2023 American Endurance Racing Class 3 champion, and Harry Sukumaran, both drivers he remains closely matched with. He has also finished ahead of Tyler Chambers, an entry-level professional with fifteen IMSA Pilot Challenge starts, and David Tuaty, a semi-professional with sixty-five International GT starts, each on separate occasions.
