He drove an SP3-class Porsche as a developing amateur over two seasons from 2009 to 2010, competing in a field that mixed amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals.[1]
Cohn took a single podium finish across six starts in the series. His record against regular opponents was mixed; he ran closely with Steve Katz, a competitive amateur and fellow PCA regular, but typically finished behind Frank Celenza, a club-level driver with more extensive experience in PCA and NASA competition. He finished ahead of James Clemens, who had amassed over one hundred PCA starts, on two occasions, and beat Norm Mandell once.[2]
