Scott Lovett is a retired American amateur racer, graded FIA Bronze, who competed in multiclass endurance racing with two or more drivers sharing a car. His only indexed racing came in American Endurance Racing's Class 1, a mixed field of production-based cars, in a championship that runs amateur and semi-professional entrants alongside graded professionals in the same race.[1]
Lovett's record consists of a single 2020 season with American Endurance Racing: two starts and one podium, closing the year 30th in the championship standings. He has not raced since, and this remains his only season on record.[2]
American Endurance Racing's Class 1 field mixes gentleman drivers with graded professionals, and Lovett's results show both ends of that spread. He finished ahead of Patrick Wilmot, an entry-level professional graded FIA Silver with a long record in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, on one occasion, and also finished ahead of Jack Stanford, a club-level racer with SCCA and NASA regional experience, once.
