Scott Lovett is an American driver at club level, with an FIA Bronze grading that reflects amateur, gentleman-driver status within sportscar and endurance racing. His only indexed racing is in shared-car, multiclass endurance competition, in American Endurance Racing, where he ran in Class 1 against a mixed field of production-based cars.[1]
His record consists of a single 2020 season with American Endurance Racing: two starts, sharing the car with a co-driver, producing one podium, and a 30th-place finish in the championship standings for that year. He has not raced since and is listed as retired.[2]
The field he raced in ran from amateurs up through graded professionals sharing the same track, and Lovett's best results reflect that spread: he finished ahead of Patrick Wilmot, an entry-level professional graded FIA Silver with starts in the IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and the Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, on one occasion, and ahead of Jack Stanford, a competitive amateur with a background in NASA and SCCA Majors and Regionals racing, also once.
