Talon Laney is a club-level driver racing in the SVRA, a national multiclass sprint championship. He competes in the Group 10 class, racing solo against five classes on a shared track. His first indexed season began in 2026.[1]
Through five rounds of the 2026 SVRA season so far, Laney has taken one win and three podiums, placing him 19th in the championship standings. He has beaten both Henry Drury, a semi-professional FIA Silver driver with 35 prior starts across three series, and David Lecko, an entry-level professional FIA Bronze driver with 28 SVRA and GT America starts; Laney has finished ahead of each of them on three occasions.[2]
Laney typically runs ahead of Eric Haagenson, a club driver with 54 starts across three clubs and regional series, and races closely with Drury, who brings significantly more experience from road racing, club racing and a national cup series. The field mixes club drivers with semi-professionals graded by the FIA.
