Ted van Vliet is a semi-professional endurance racing driver who competed in the 24H Series, a multiclass international championship that fields amateur and professional drivers together across GT3, GT3-AM and GTX machinery. He raced primarily for JR Motorsport between 2018 and 2023, sharing his car with co-drivers over six seasons.[1]
Across 12 starts in the 24H Series, van Vliet took one win and seven podiums. He finished 21st in the 2023 championship standings in what proved to be his most recent campaign. He regularly raced against established professionals including Alfred Renauer, a two-time 24H Series GT3 champion and FIA Silver graded driver with over 60 indexed starts in sportscar racing, and Charles Putman, a former 24H Series champion with nearly 60 indexed starts; van Vliet typically finished behind both. He beat Renauer once and topped Peter Kox, an FIA Silver graded professional with 44 FIA GT Championship starts, on one occasion.[2]
