Tom Panzarella is a club-level driver competing in NASA, a multiclass endurance championship mixing amateurs and professionals in single-driver sprint racing. He races a spec BMW E30 in the Spec E30 class and production street cars in Super Touring 5, running primarily for a team that has fielded drivers up to entry-level professional level and fields multiple competitors across the grid.[1]

Over six seasons from 2020 to 2026, Panzarella has accumulated 47 starts and 10 podiums in NASA. His 2026 campaign is still in progress with six rounds run so far; he currently sits 46th in the championship standings. He has finished ahead of semi-professional drivers including Scott McKay, who has raced 151 NASA events, and Andrew Engelmann, a Bronze-graded professional who has competed in the Nürburgring 24 Hours alongside his NASA programme.[2]

Panzarella runs in a field that includes competitive amateurs and semi-professionals with substantial experience in multiclass racing. He typically finishes behind his most regular opponents, including Mendez and McKay, both established in the series; his occasional victories over drivers of that calibre come as exceptions to a pattern of running mid-pack in the class.
