Since 2021, Huong has competed in NASA across its Spec Miata and Super Touring 6 classes, and in SCCA Regionals across ITA, SMT and SRF3 classes, driving primarily a Mazda Miata. Huong's record splits evenly between NASA and SCCA Regionals. In NASA across four seasons, Huong has taken 2 wins and 13 podiums from 48 starts. In SCCA Regionals, Huong has been more consistent, posting 3 wins and 13 podiums in 21 starts. The 2025 SCCA Regionals season so far has brought 1 win and 2 podiums through five rounds, placing Huong 16th in the points standings.[2]
Huong races regularly against Brian Cross, a club-level driver with extensive NASA and SCCA Regionals experience, and usually finishes ahead of him. Among the strongest drivers Huong has raced are Kyle Kaiser, a professional Gold-graded driver who won the 2017 Indy NXT championship and has competed in IndyCar, and Aaron Jeansonne, a professional Silver-graded driver with experience in Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, Porsche Carrera Cup NA and NASA; Huong has beaten Kaiser once and Jeansonne four times across their meetings.
