🇬🇧 Charlie Martin

Charlie Martin is a Bronze-graded amateur endurance racing driver, a category that places her among gentleman racers and semi-professionals competing in GT and sportscar fields. Her rating of 2,285 reflects competitive amateur status; she races at club and entry-level professional fields rather than in full-time professional championships. Across 11 starts spanning 2020 to 2022, Martin scored one win and four podiums, averaging a third-place finish. Her record is rooted in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo NA series, where she started ten times for Dream Racing Motorsport and took her single victory and three of her four podiums. The Nürburgring 24 Hours, one of endurance racing's most demanding events, represented her only other recorded start, a one-off appearance in 2020 that yielded no points.[1]

In the Super Trofeo NA field, Martin raced consistently against Bronze-graded amateurs of comparable standing. Her head-to-head record against Slade Stewart, a 2022 LBCup champion and the strongest regular rival, showed her winning four times and losing six across ten shared races; against Ofir Levy and Jon Hirshberg she ran at parity, splitting results evenly. She finished ahead of Keawn Tandon, a Silver-graded professional, once. More telling is the spread of her finishes: she dominated Bronze driver Rodrigo Vales with seven wins in ten meetings, and beat Rogelio Perusquia at similar ratios, but could not sustain advantage over Stewart, indicating a field where she occupied the mid-pack. Her best result relative to her peers came against Scott Schmidt, whom she outscored 4 times in 6 races.[2]

The record shows retirement from racing after 2022, though recent headlines from 2025 and 2026 reference racing activity in McLaren Trophy Europe, suggesting either a return to competition or activity not yet captured in the authoritative record supplied here. Martin has become known as a transgender rights activist in motorsport as well as a competitor.
