Florescu is a developing driver in her first season of competitive racing. Her Racer Rating of 2,916 places her at the entry level of club and regional racing, a tier for drivers early in their careers with limited race experience and inconsistent results against established competition. Across three starts in Spanish F4 with Tecnicar in 2026, she has yet to score a podium finish, averaging P14.5.[1]

That said, early signs offer encouragement. Florescu has beaten several drivers rated in the 3,000-plus range in individual races; she finished ahead of Jean-Paul Karras, a semi-professional rated 3,091, twice across her opening races, and has also beaten Andrej Petrovic (3,490), Ty Fisher (3,474), and Felipe Reijs (3,015) in single outings. These results against stronger opposition are genuinely notable at this stage of her career and suggest she is capable of competing with drivers above her current level. Her team, Tecnicar, has not recorded wins at the elite level of the index, but it has fielded multiple drivers and functions as a working outfit rather than a one-car operation.[2]

Florescu is set to broaden her racing in 2026 with a move to Italian F4 under Real Racing and has been named as a wildcard entry for the F1 Academy event at Zandvoort, indicating backing and opportunities beyond her debut Spanish F4 campaign. The coming months will show whether her early competitive moments against established drivers signal genuine potential or remain isolated results in an inconsistent first season.
