Pichini raced the full 2010 and 2011 seasons in Turismo Carretera before a shortened 2012 campaign of three rounds, ending his indexed racing career in 30th place in that year's championship standings. His regular competitors included semi-professional Mariano Altuna and entry-level professional Jonatan Castellano; he typically finished behind both. Over his time in the series, Pichini occasionally ran ahead of established professionals; he finished ahead of Néstor Girolami, a Gold-graded driver who has since raced the World Touring Car Cup and TCR World Tour, on 11 occasions, and ahead of José María López, now a professional with three World Touring Car Championship titles and a WEC Hypercar championship, on nine occasions.[2]
