McLaren Trophy America is an endurance racing series established in 2025 for McLaren GT3 cars. The field is a professional-amateur structure split across three classes: a professional class led by Jon Lancaster and featuring established drivers like Matt Bell and Joe Osborne; a pro-am class mixing Silver-rated professionals and Bronze-rated amateurs; and an amateur class. The overall calibre is entry-level professional; the field is weaker than the top-tier IMSA WeatherTech and GT World Challenge America series but comparable to GT4 America, the lower series that supplies most of its drivers and receives most of its departures. The series functions as a mid-ladder destination where drivers move between neighbouring championships at similar strength rather than as a clear stepping stone in a single upward direction.
