Akash Nandy is a Malaysian racing driver who competed in junior single-seat racing during the mid-2010s. His career began in 2014 with two starts in the Formula Renault Eurcup driving for Tech 1 Racing, neither of which resulted in podium finishes. Nandy subsequently progressed to the GP3 Series in 2016, where he made 14 starts for Jenzer Motorsport; he did not secure any wins or podiums during that campaign and finished twenty-first in the final standings.[1]
Nandy retired from professional racing following his 2016 GP3 Series effort, completing a career total of 16 starts across both series without recording a victory or podium finish. He holds the distinction of being the first and only driver to have competed in the GP3 Series under the Malaysian flag. Since departing single-seat racing, Nandy transitioned to sportscar competition, later joining Absolute Racing in the GT World Challenge Asia.[2]
