Amber Balcaen is a semi-professional stock car racing driver competing in national single-class championships in the United States. She races for ICON Direct and has spent five seasons in the ARCA Menards Series since 2021, her primary circuit, with additional starts in ARCA Menards East, ARCA Menards West, and the NASCAR Canada Series.[1]

Across 60 starts since 2021, Balcaen has raced primarily on ovals; 37 of her 45 ARCA Menards Series starts came on short tracks, with the remainder on road and street courses. She finished 25th in the 2024 NASCAR Canada Series standings in her most recent activity. Her regular competition includes established professionals and entry-level professionals moving through the ARCA ranks; she typically finishes behind Toni Breidinger, an entry-level professional with substantial experience in ARCA and the NASCAR Truck Series, and ahead of Brad Smith, a competitive amateur with over 280 single-seater starts. She has twice finished ahead of considerably stronger drivers: Jesse Love, a three-time ARCA champion now racing in NASCAR Xfinity, and Shane Van Gisbergen, a two-time Supercars champion and established professional with 87 NASCAR Cup Series starts.[2]
