🇩🇪 Pierre Ehret

Pierre Ehret is an entry-level professional driver rated 2,939, competing in international multiclass endurance racing as a Bronze-graded amateur. He spent twelve seasons racing across five series from 2002 to 2024, primarily with Rinaldi Racing, driving GT3 and GTE machinery in championships that mixed amateur and professional fields.[1]

Ehret contested 43 starts across his career with two wins and eight podiums. His most significant success came in the European Le Mans Series, where he took a win and podium in five starts in 2022; he also won once in the 24 Hours Series across three starts between 2017 and 2019. He raced the FIA GT Championship once in 2005, the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie from 2012 to 2015 with one podium, the World Endurance Championship seven times from 2012 to 2022, and the GT World Challenge Europe twice in 2019 and 2020. Most recently he competed in the GT Winter Series in 2024, where he took four podiums from eleven starts before retiring from the sport.[2]

Ehret operated consistently within fields populated by graded professionals and amateurs alike. Against established professional rivals he typically finished behind them; Christian Ried, a three-time WEC LMGTE Am champion and 2022 European Le Mans Series LMGTE champion, and Davide Rigon, a 2016 WEC LMGTE Pro champion and Platinum-graded driver, were regular opponents who generally outpaced him. He did finish ahead of Matthew Payne, a Gold-graded established professional, twice, and once ahead of Katsumasa Chiyo, another Gold-graded driver from the Super GT series. His racing took place across endurance grids ranging from the 24 Hours Series, a multiclass championship spanning thirteen countries with five to eleven classes per race, down to national-level sprint competitions.
