Andreas Liehm was a competitive amateur racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship held at the Nürburgring. He drove Porsche 911 GT3 Cup and near-standard production cars for GetSpeed Performance across two seasons from 2014 to 2015.[1]
Liehm made four starts across two seasons and took one podium finish. He finished 19th in the 2015 championship standings, his final season of indexed racing.[2]
His single podium came against a field mixing amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. He finished ahead of Patrick Kolb, a Silver-graded driver who would go on to win the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 7 class in 2019 and has raced in GT World Challenge Europe and the 24H Series, and Gabriele Piana, a professional with extensive experience across three international series.
