He was most often matched against Kevin Candela, a semi-professional regular in TC Mouras and Turismo Carretera, and typically finished behind Nicolás Pezzucchi, who won the 2011 TC Pista Mouras title that year. He took five finishes ahead of Candela and twice beat Esteban Gini, an entry-level professional who went on to win the TC Pista championship in 2015.[2]
