Bruce Bergeron is a club-level driver racing in national solo-seater and production-car championships in the United States. He competes primarily in SCCA Regionals, where he drives a tube-frame silhouette GT car in the GT2 class, and has also raced in American Endurance Racing, BMW CCA Club Racing, SCCA Majors and SVRA across a nine-year span from 2017 to the present.[1]
His record in SCCA Regionals from 2023 to 2025 produced four wins and 17 podiums from 32 starts, establishing him as a regular contender in that series. Before that, he took two podiums from 11 endurance starts with American Endurance Racing between 2017 and 2022, racing shared-drive cars in a multiclass field that included graded professionals alongside amateurs and semi-professionals. He has also raced in BMW CCA Club Racing and SCCA Majors, with limited activity in the latter; his most recent starts came in SVRA in 2026, where he currently sits 68th in the championship standings with three rounds completed so far.[2]
In the fields he races regularly, Bergeron runs closely with Scott Simpson, another club-level regular in SCCA Regionals and SVRA, and typically finishes behind Joe Zanavich, a club-level competitor who has made 26 SCCA Regionals starts. He has beaten entry-level professionals on occasion, including Preston Brown, who has 45 IMSA Pilot Challenge starts and 31 American Endurance Racing starts, and Evan Slater, who has raced Trans-Am TA2, SCCA Majors and Radical Cup NA.
