Joel Stetina raced in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship in which cars are shared by multiple drivers across two countries. He competed in Class 1 and Class Sebring machinery during two seasons from 2015 to 2016, taking five starts before retiring from the series.[1]
Stetina finished 44th in the 2016 American Endurance Racing championship standings across three rounds. His racing fell in a field that mixed amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. He regularly raced against Jason Lare, the 2016 Class 1 champion, and Alan Bellavance, who won the 2015 Class Sebring title, finishing behind both drivers in his outings against them. He took individual race finishes ahead of semi-professional drivers with substantial experience in NASA and GT4 America, and ahead of James Counterman, a competitive amateur and two-time American Endurance Racing class champion.[2]
