Chris Allen is a semi-professional racing driver competing across multiple series in national-level motorsport. He races solo in NASA's multiclass championships, where he campaigns a BMW E30 3-series in Spec E30 and has also started in Spec Miata and Porsche 944 Spec; he also competes in shared-driver endurance racing through American Endurance Racing and GT4 America, driving production-based cars in various classes. His primary team affiliation is STR38 Motorsports for GT4 America competition.[1]

Allen has raced across 14 seasons from 2008 to the present, with his heaviest activity in NASA, where he holds 34 starts, three wins, and 14 podiums. In American Endurance Racing he has taken four wins and six podiums from nine starts across its Class 1, Class 2, and Class A production-car classes. His GT4 America campaign in 2023 yielded two podiums from nine starts in the Am class, and he has made brief appearances in European endurance racing and club-level SVRA competition, where he won one of two starts in 2025.[2]

In NASA he typically finishes behind Robert Grace, a four-time Spec E30 champion with over 200 starts in the series, and runs closely with Michael Kovac, a club-level regular. His strongest showings against established opposition come in endurance racing, where he has beaten professional drivers including Austin Krainz, an FIA Silver-graded driver and 2026 IMSA Pilot Challenge GS champion, four times across their GT4 America meetings, and Bronze-graded professional Paulo Carcasci twice.
