Jeff Pritchard raced in endurance championships at the competitive amateur level, a racer in multiclass fields where amateurs share grids with professionals. He competed in American Endurance Racing across eight seasons from 2015 to 2022, driving production-based cars in the Class 1, Class 2 and Glen classes, and made a single start in the Spec BMW E30 class at a NASA national event in 2016.[1]
Pritchard took the 2019 American Endurance Racing championship. Across his 33 starts in the series, he finished on the podium 19 times and won seven races. His single NASA appearance came in 2016, where he placed 83rd in the championship standings.[2]
In American Endurance Racing, Pritchard regularly raced against Michal Stach, a fellow competitive amateur with 86 starts in the series, and Keith Oldt, a club-level driver; the three were closely matched through their meetings. Pritchard's record also includes podium finishes ahead of Kaz Grala, a professional NASCAR driver who has competed in the NASCAR Xfinity, Truck and Cup Series, and Tommy Byrne, a professional who raced in American Endurance Racing and competed at Formula 3 Macau.
