Shakir Wilson is a semi-professional racing in multiclass endurance and club racing championships. He races primarily in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass national series in which production-based cars from multiple classes compete in shared-driver format across two countries. He also competes in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA, both national multiclass championships run in the United States with solo drivers, and has raced PCA Club Racing. His machinery across these series comprises production-based cars in American Endurance Racing's Class 1, 2 and 3 divisions and spec BMW E46 3-series in the club racing championships.[1]

Over 12 seasons from 2010 to 2026, Wilson has taken 11 wins and 42 podiums from 69 starts in American Endurance Racing, his primary series. His record in the club racing championships is minor by comparison, with one podium across six starts combined in BMW CCA Club Racing and NASA. In 2016 he finished 41st in PCA Club Racing championship standings across three rounds. His most recent competition was in 2016 PCA Club Racing. His endurance racing activity has continued through 2026.[2]

In American Endurance Racing Wilson is closely matched with Justin Tracy, a competitive amateur and 2024 Class 5 champion in that series, and usually finishes ahead of Thomas Lee, a semi-professional who has won the Class 2 championship in consecutive years. He has beaten Kaz Grala, a professional driver who has competed in NASCAR's national and developmental series, and Tommy Byrne, a professional who has raced in both American Endurance Racing and Formula 3 competition. Wilson competes in a field that spans amateur and semi-professional entrants through to graded professionals.
