🇨🇳 Wai Yan Cheuk

Wai Yan Cheuk is a competitive amateur racing in multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring. In 2024, his first indexed season, he competed in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, sharing a TCR touring car for Hyundai NMotosport. His record spans three starts across the two series.[1]

Cheuk took two podium finishes in his three starts. He finished on the podium twice in the Langstrecken-Serie and once in the 24 Hours, meeting graded professionals and experienced touring car drivers in fields that mixed amateurs with entry-level and established professionals. His finishes included twice beating Christian Klien, a Platinum-graded professional with 51 Formula 1 starts, and twice beating Norbert Siedler, a Gold-graded professional with 45 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie starts.[2]

The fields included 2022 World Touring Car Cup champion Mikel Azcona and 2011 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 9 champion Marc Basseng, both regular opponents against whom Cheuk typically finished lower on the order.
