Bud Tingelstad was an established professional racing in Formula 1, the international single-class open-wheel championship. He drove for Trevis in 1960, his only indexed season.[1]
Tingelstad made one Formula 1 start in 1960 and finished 14th in the championship standings. He beat established professionals Duane Carter and Tony Bettenhausen, each of whom had substantially longer Formula 1 careers than his own.[2]
