Michel Poberejsky, racing under the name Mike Sparken, was a French driver who made a single Formula 1 start for Gordini at the 1955 British Grand Prix. He finished seventh, nine laps down, and did not score championship points. His one-race appearance places him among the vast majority of drivers who competed in early Formula 1 without establishing a sustained career in the category.[1]
The calibre of the field at Silverstone that day is evident from the drivers Sparken classified ahead of or alongside. He finished ahead of Harry Schell, a front-running professional with a Racer Rating of 4,981, as well as Ken Wharton and Lance Macklin, both established competitors of the era. That single result represents the sum total of his documented racing record; no other series appearances are on file. Sparken has since retired from racing.[2]
