Burkard Kaiser was a semi-professional racing in multiclass endurance championships, competing in shared-driver GT and production-car races across Germany and internationally. He drove Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and modified production machinery for BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction Porsche, the team that ran the majority of his career.[1]
Kaiser raced from 2012 to 2015 in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he took five podiums across 21 starts and finished 19th in the championship standings in his final season. He made two further starts in the 24H Series in 2017 for Mercedes-AMG Testteam Black Falcon, competing in the series' international multiclass format but adding no further podium finishes to his tally.[2]
His regular opponents in the Nürburgring series included Tim Scheerbarth, a multiple series champion and entry-level professional who usually finished ahead of Kaiser, and Robin Chrzanowski, an entry-level professional against whom Kaiser typically prevailed. Kaiser beat two professional-graded drivers in individual races; Andreas Weishaupt, who had 28 starts in the Nürburgring series, and David Schiwietz.
