Sasaki is a semi-professional racing in national multiclass endurance championships at the Nürburgring, holding FIA Silver grading. He races turbocharged and modified production-based cars in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and Nürburgring 24 Hours, competing in shared-driver events where teams field multiple pilots across a single race. His main current team is Subaru Tecnica International.[1]
Across indexed racing from 2011 onward, Sasaki has recorded nine starts in these two series, taking three podiums and one win. He won the Nürburgring 24 Hours in 2026, his most significant result on record, and has podiumed in that event twice more from three total starts. His earlier campaign in the Langstrecken-Serie from 2011 to 2016 yielded a single podium across six starts. In the 2026 Nürburgring 24 Hours, still in progress, he has taken victory so far.[2]
He races in fields mixing competitive amateurs and established professionals, including graded competitors and national-series champions. Against the Gold-graded 2012 Langstrecken-Serie SP 3T champion Christian Krognes, a regular opponent at the Nürburgring, Sasaki has typically finished ahead. He has also beaten FIA World Touring Car Cup regular Johan Kristoffersson in head-to-head racing.
