🇫🇷 Mathieu Jaminet

Mathieu Jaminet is an established professional, FIA Platinum-graded endurance driver racing for Genesis Magma Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship. Across a dozen seasons from 2011 to the present, he has raced multiclass and single-class endurance championships with shared-drive cars, GT sprint series, and single-seat racing in Europe; his primary home has been the IMSA WeatherTech series, where he has spent most of his indexed career. He was a factory driver for Porsche before joining Genesis.[1]

Jaminet won the IMSA WeatherTech championship twice: GTD Pro in 2022 with Pfaff Motorsports, and the top-tier GTP class in 2025 with Porsche Penske Motorsport. Across IMSA he has 52 starts and 12 wins. He has also raced the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, and the GT World Challenge Europe; the 24H Series multiclass championship has accounted for five starts and three wins, placing him in paid professional endurance racing alongside amateurs and semi-professionals. His first indexed season was Formula Renault Eurocup in 2011. The 2026 WEC season is still in progress; he currently sits 16th in the championship standings after six rounds.[2]

His record against top endurance drivers shows him competing closely with established peers. Dries Vanthoor, a Platinum-graded professional and 2021 GT World Challenge Europe champion with extensive WEC and IMSA experience, is a regular opponent, and Jaminet usually finishes ahead of him. Nick Yelloly, another Platinum-graded professional with 40 IMSA starts, races him closely and they are evenly matched. Jaminet has also beaten elite-level drivers in shared-car settings; he finished ahead of Alex Palou, a five-time IndyCar champion, three times, and Pascal Wehrlein, the 2024 Formula E champion, twice, though the shared-drive format of endurance racing means those meetings carry less weight than head-to-head sprint competition would.
