Stefan Wieninger is an entry-level professional competing in multiclass endurance racing across two national championships in Germany. He races in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he competes in the SP 3T class of turbocharged production-based race cars and TCR touring cars, and in the 24H Series, where he runs GT3 and TCR machinery. He has driven for Land Motorsport in the 24H Series and for LMS Engineering in the Nürburgring series.[1]

His racing career spans 12 seasons from 2010 to 2019 in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, with four additional starts in the 24H Series between 2021 and 2024. He scored five wins and fourteen podiums across 35 starts. His primary success came in the Nürburgring series, where he won five times and finished on the podium twelve times in thirty-one starts, finishing seventeenth in the championship standings in his final full season in 2019. In the 24H Series, a higher-profile international endurance championship mixing amateur and professional drivers, he took two podiums from four starts.[2]

In his regular Nürburgring field, he was closely matched with competitive amateur Matthias Wasel and typically finished ahead of entry-level professional Maximilian Hackländer. He finished ahead of established professionals Earl Bamber, the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech GTLM champion, and Bernd Schneider, the 1997 FIA GT champion, once each, though such instances were isolated results in a field where graded professionals and amateurs shared the same races.
