Pierre Humbert is a semi-professional endurance racing driver from Switzerland. He raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass national championship in which shared-drive teams compete across 15 classes on road courses at Germany's Nürburgring. Humbert drove SP 3T and SP 8 turbocharged and modified production-based race cars, primarily for Car #309.[1]
Between 2011 and 2015, Humbert took 39 starts across five seasons in the series. He won once and took podiums in seven races, finishing fourth in the 2015 championship standings with three podiums from six rounds that season. His single win came during this final campaign.[2]
Humbert raced regularly against Christian Krognes, a 2012 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 3T champion and FIA Gold-graded professional with 86 starts in the series; Humbert typically finished behind Krognes but beat him once. Against Matthias Wasel, a competitive amateur and fellow series regular, the two were closely matched. The field Humbert raced in mixed amateurs and semi-professionals with established professionals and graded drivers sharing the grid in the same races, placing him mid-field in terms of the competition he faced.
