Drew Neubauer is a semi-professional racing driver competing in national American motorsport series. He holds an FIA Bronze grading, the amateur level within endurance and GT racing. Neubauer drives for NV Autosport and currently races a Ford Mustang Dark Horse R in the Mustang Challenge DHL class.[1]
Neubauer has raced across five seasons from 2019 to the present, accumulating 22 starts. His primary series is the Mustang Challenge, where he has made 12 starts for Torre Racing and earned one podium finish. He has also competed in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, a multiclass endurance series mixing amateurs with graded professionals, in a GT4-level sports car; in NASA's multispec series; and in Trans-Am TA2, where he ran single-driver sprint racing in a tube-frame V8 silhouette car across four rounds in 2019, finishing 19th in the championship standings.[2]
In the Mustang Challenge he regularly races against Thomas Tait, a fellow semi-professional and the 2026 series champion, against whom he typically finishes behind, and Paolo Salvatore, a competitive amateur, with whom he runs closely matched. He has finished ahead of drivers of considerably higher standing: Ty Gibbs, an elite professional and two-time ARCA champion with 165 NASCAR Cup starts, and Nolan Siegel, an established professional with FIA Gold grading and 47 IndyCar starts.
