🇩🇪 Carsten Palluth

Carsten Palluth is a competitive amateur racing multiclass endurance cars at Germany's Nürburgring. Across seven seasons from 2015 to 2022, he drove Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport and GT4 machinery in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the Nürburgring 24 Hours, sharing his cars with co-drivers as part of the standard crewed format. He raced primarily for BLACK FALCON Team TEXTAR, one of the established operations in the series.[1]

Palluth took two wins and six podiums from 26 starts, with five podiums in the Langstrecken-Serie and one in the 24-hour race. His record spanned the full seven-year window, indicating a long-term commitment to the series rather than a concentrated campaign. The majority of his podium finishes came in the Langstrecken-Serie's GT4 and production-car classes, where the pace requirements sit below the faster multiclass fields.[2]

Against the drivers he faced regularly, Palluth held his own with Dominik Thiemann, a four-time Langstrecken-Serie V5 champion at the same competitive amateur level, but typically finished behind Daniel Zils, an entry-level professional and multiple-time V5 and VT2 champion with 136 series starts. His most notable finishes came against drivers of much higher standing: he beat Edoardo Mortara, an elite professional and Formula 3 Euro Series champion, and Robin Frijns, an established professional who won the Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula V8 3.5, and the WEC LMP2 title. These represented single occasions rather than patterns in a field where shared-car endurance racing can place amateur drivers on the same result sheet as circuit specialists.
