Chris Lawrence was a British racing driver who competed in Formula 1 during the 1966 season. He made two starts for Cooper-Ferrari, debuting on 16 July 1966, but did not score championship points in either outing. His average finishing position across classified starts was eleventh, placing him in a competitive field of single-seater drivers at that era's top level.[1]

Lawrence's Formula 1 career was brief and resulted in no wins or podium finishes. The Cooper-Ferrari team for which he drove proved uncompetitive during his tenure; across the broader index, the marque recorded no race wins and Lawrence was its strongest driver on record. His participation in the sport appears to have been limited to that single season, after which he retired from racing.[2]
