🇳🇱 Chris Rothoff

Chris Rothoff is a competitive amateur racing in a national multiclass endurance series. He competes in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a shared-driver championship run at the Nürburgring with fifteen classes on the same grid and a field mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals. Rothoff drives a front-wheel-drive turbocharged BMW 325i class car, and occasionally competes in the wider-field Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he won in 2025 with Auto Thomas by Jung Motorsport.[1]

Across thirteen starts since 2019, Rothoff has taken one win and four podiums. His most significant result came in the 2025 Nürburgring 24 Hours, where he won outright in the VT2 Front class. In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie over six seasons he has taken three podiums from twelve starts. He has beaten the professional-level drivers Christian Scherer and Niklas Abrahamsen on single occasions each.[2]

Rothoff typically finishes behind Oliver Frisse, a fellow competitive amateur and regular rival with far more extensive endurance racing experience; he runs closely matched with Juha Miettinen, another competitive amateur regular. He sits mid-field in a grid where graded professionals race alongside amateurs in shared cockpits, and his 24-hour breakthrough represents his strongest performance against that mixed field.
