🇧🇪 Pieter Denys

Pieter Denys is a semi-professional endurance racing driver from Belgium. He raced multiclass championships in shared-car endurance racing, primarily in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a German national series that ran 15 classes on the same track. He spent four seasons there from 2018 to 2021 with Xwift Racing Events, running V4 production cars, before taking occasional starts in the 24H Series, an international multiclass championship, and the Nürburgring 24 Hours. His career spanned six seasons and 17 starts, yielding a single podium.[1]

Denys finished outside the points regularly against his most frequent opponents. He raced against Christopher Rink, the FIA Silver-graded V4 champion of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021, and usually finished behind him. He also met Andreas Schmidt, a club-level regular in the series, more often than not. He did take a podium in the 24H Series in 2022 or 2023, and in a single appearance at the Nürburgring 24 Hours he finished ahead of Esteban Guerrieri, an established professional and Platinum-graded driver who won the 2012 Indy NXT championship and the 2019 FIA World Touring Car Cup, and Néstor Girolami, an established Gold-graded professional with extended careers in the World Touring Car Cup and TCR World Tour.[2]
