Dalton Ryan is a developing driver racing in national amateur and semi-professional multiclass championships in the United States. He competes in SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors, piloting spec 1990โ2005 Mazda MX-5 Miatas in the SM and SM2 classes alongside fields that range from club competitors to graded professionals. His primary series is SCCA Regionals, where he has raced since 2022.[1]
Ryan has made 16 starts across three seasons. He took a win and one other podium in SCCA Regionals, where he finished 87th in the championship standings in 2025. His four starts in SCCA Majors came in 2023 without a podium finish. His record against regular opponents is closely matched with Bruce Allen, a developing driver of similar experience, though he typically finishes behind Russell King, another developing regular who has broader racing history including SCCA Runoffs starts.[2]
Ryan has beaten Jonathan Neudorf, an entry-level professional and FIA Silver-graded driver with Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup and GT4 America experience, once on record. He has also finished ahead of Sam Craven, a Bronze-graded professional and 2025 GT4 America Pro-Am champion, in one meeting between them.
