Daniel Nefa was a competitive amateur racing in national single-class touring car championships in Argentina between 2013 and 2020. He raced primarily for Ford and Chevrolet across four series: TC Pista Mouras, TC Mouras, TC Pista and TC Pick Up, accumulating 90 starts over eight seasons.[1]
Nefa took nine wins and twenty podiums across his career. His strongest period came in TC Mouras, where he scored eight wins and fifteen podiums from 58 starts between 2015 and 2019. He also recorded a win in TC Pista Mouras and a single podium in TC Pista, with a lone start in TC Pick Up in 2020. His final indexed season was TC Pista in 2020, when he finished 25th in the championship.[2]
Nefa typically finished ahead of club-level regular Maximiliano Vivot and matched closely with semi-professional Gastón Rossi, a driver who raced extensively across the same circuits. He beat entry-level professional Julián Santero, a 2015 TC Mouras champion and later Turismo Carretera title winner, twice across their meetings. He finished ahead of Hernán Palazzo, the 2024 TC Pista champion, on sixteen occasions.
