Federico Paoloni is a competitive amateur, rated 2,753; that places him at the front of club racing and entry-level professional fields, a quick driver racing against established competitors rather than among them. His career on record spans two seasons of SKUSA SuperNationals competition between 2008 and 2011, with two starts yielding no wins or podium finishes. His average finish across classified starts was tenth.[1]
Despite the modest record, Paoloni occasionally finished ahead of considerably stronger drivers in individual races. He beat Trent Hindman, an FIA Gold graded driver and two-time champion rated well into the professional band, once; he also defeated Remo Ruscitti, an FIA Silver graded professional, in a single result. These isolated outings do not indicate a pattern of superiority but show Paoloni capable of competitive results against the sharp end of the fields he entered. Paoloni is now retired from racing.
