David Ducote is a competitive amateur racing in national and international multiclass endurance and sprint championships. He holds an FIA Bronze grading, the amateur classification in GT and sportscar racing. Ducote races Porsches across PCA Club Racing, a national solo sprint series, and has contested the 24H Series, a multiclass endurance championship run across multiple countries, for RENNtech Motorsports in shared-car racing.[1]
Across 15 starts since 2015, Ducote has taken eight podiums. His primary racing has been in PCA Club Racing, where he has started 10 times and podiumed six times in various Porsche classes. He has made three appearances in the 24H Series, earning two podiums in shared-car racing across its 991 and GT4 classes. He also made a single start in the Michelin 992 Endurance Cup in 2025 and one outing in Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge in 2016.[2]
Ducote races in fields mixing amateurs with graded professionals. He is closely matched against Wayne Ducote, a fellow club-level regular in PCA Club Racing, and typically finishes behind Alan Metni, an entry-level professional and two-time Porsche Carrera Cup NA Pro-Am champion. Ducote has on occasion finished ahead of stronger drivers; he has beaten Russell Ward, an established professional and back-to-back IMSA WeatherTech GTD champion, and Indy Dontje, a professional with extensive IMSA and European sportscar experience.
