David Howe is a developing amateur racer with a Racer Rating of 400, placing him at the entry level of competitive motorsport. His record encompasses 21 starts across two racing categories between 2016 and 2026, with an average finish of seventh place. The distinction between his primary series, American Endurance Racing, and his more recent involvement in SCCA Regionals shows a transition toward club-level single-seater racing.[1]

In American Endurance Racing, Howe accumulated 13 starts over a decade, securing one win and three podiums. His record in this longer-distance discipline was played out against semi-professional and professional drivers; he beat Michael Hurczyn, a Silver-graded sportscar driver and two-time American Endurance Racing class champion, once, and has defeated several other drivers with established credentials in endurance racing. However, he has consistently finished behind his most frequent rivals in the series: he managed no victories in five shared races against Jason Nolan, the 2019 American Endurance Racing Class 1 champion, and was shut out by Jeff Pritchard, another 2019 Class 1 champion, in four meetings.[2]

Howe's recent racing has moved into SCCA Regionals, where he ran eight rounds in 2022 and secured two podiums without wins, finishing 53rd in the standings. His head-to-head record against rivals at this level is mixed; he has beaten John Raudat, the 2024 SCCA Regionals SM2 champion, twice, but split results evenly with Cade Wilson and trailed Daniel Cianci, the 2023 SCCA Regionals B-Spec champion, in their meetings. The absence of wins since his sole American Endurance Racing victory and his placement at the developing level reflects a driver competing among semi-professional and club-level fields without establishing a pattern of success against stronger opposition.
