David Nagler is a club-level driver racing solo in national multiclass road-course championships in the United States. He competes primarily in SCCA Majors and SCCA Regionals, piloting spec Mazda MX-5 Miatas in the SM class and production-based performance cars in STU. He has also raced in PCA Club Racing and American Endurance Racing as a shared-driver in multiclass fields.[1]
Across nine seasons from 2015 to 2026, Nagler has made 33 starts and taken six podiums. His most consistent work has been in SCCA Majors, where he has accumulated 18 starts and two podiums over six seasons. He also holds two podiums from eight SCCA Regionals starts between 2022 and 2025. In his most recent activity, the 2025 SCCA Regionals season, he has taken two podiums from two rounds raced to date and sits twelfth in the championship standings.[2]
In a field of competitive amateurs and semi-professionals, Nagler typically finishes behind established regulars such as Nick Leverone and Elivan Goulart, both of whom have substantially larger entries in the same series. He has finished ahead of Sam Craven, a professional and FIA Bronze graded driver who won the 2025 GT4 America Pro-Am championship, on at least one occasion, and has also beaten Francis Selldorff, an FIA Silver professional and champion of the 2023 IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge GSX.
