Doug Fambrough is a club-level driver racing solo in national multiclass championships in the United States. He competes primarily in SCCA Regionals, where he has started 21 times since 2023 in production-based and spec Mazda machinery across three classes: ITS, SM, and STL. His earlier racing included two starts in NASA's Spec Miata class in 2014.[1]
Across his four seasons on record, Fambrough has taken two wins and seven podiums from 23 starts. His most consistent work has come in SCCA Regionals, where he scored two wins and six podiums in his 21 entries; the 2025 season brought one podium from three rounds run to date, leaving him 56th in the championship standings. His record against the drivers he meets regularly shows him typically finishing ahead of club-level opponents Mark Murphy and Thomas Swoboda, both of whom have raced substantially more SCCA Regionals starts. He has beaten entry-level professional Marcello Paniccia once and semi-professional Christian Sarnecki once across their respective meetings.[2]
