Justin Ferraro is a semi-professional racing solo Mazda Miatas in the SCCA's national multiclass championships. He competes in the SM and SM2 Spec Miata classes for SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors, where he races against a mixed field of amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same multiclass grid.[1]

Ferraro has taken eight wins across 42 starts since 2023, with 22 podiums distributed between SCCA Regionals and SCCA Majors. His record in Regionals, where he has contested the bulk of his career, shows consistency in the mid-field; he has finished 22nd in the 2025 championship standings through five rounds. His seven Majors starts have not yielded podium finishes. Currently active in 2025, he has taken four podiums from five Regionals rounds raced so far.[2]

His regular rivals in Regionals include Christian Sarnecki, a semi-professional with 52 starts in that series, against whom Ferraro has typically finished behind. Against John Salerno, an entry-level professional with 19 Regionals starts and 14 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup entries, Ferraro has run closely matched. He has beaten Michael Tosi, an entry-level professional and FIA Bronze graded driver with 37 Regionals starts and GT4 America experience, on two occasions, and has finished ahead of Nathan Saxon, another entry-level professional, twice in their head-to-head meetings.
