Eric Balgoyen is a developing amateur competitor who raced in NASA's national multiclass championship between 2014 and 2017. He piloted a Spec Miata, a Mazda MX-5 in specification trim, in the series' dedicated class, sharing the grid with amateurs and professionals across fifteen classes in each race.[1]
