Frank Unverhau was a developing driver who raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship run at one circuit in Germany. He competed across seven seasons from 2010 to 2019, driving BMW one-make cup cars and modified production-based machinery in the Cup 5, H2 and SP 6 classes, most frequently for Besaplast Team Dolate Motorsport.[1]
Over 27 starts Unverhau took one win and one podium. He typically finished behind Guido Strohe, a club-level driver and two-time V4 class champion in the series, though he was closely matched with fellow club regular Günther Hartwig. Unverhau finished ahead of professional-graded drivers Klaus Landgraf and Christian Konnerth, the latter a two-time V5 class champion with nearly 100 starts in the series and six appearances in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, though these proved isolated results rather than a pattern in their head-to-head meetings.[2]
