Günther Kronseder was an entry-level professional racing in the FIA GT Championship, a single-class endurance series in which each car carries two or more drivers who share the car across the race distance. He drove for KRT Lamborghini Racing, fielding a Lamborghini in a grid that mixed amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals.[1]
Kronseder's indexed racing career spans two seasons, 1999 and 2000, with three starts in the FIA GT Championship. He finished 32nd in the 1999 championship standings and did not score in 2000. He raced alongside established professionals and multiple-time international champions; against Luca Cappellari, the 2004 FIA GT Championship winner, and Christian Ried, a three-time WEC LMGTE Am champion, he finished behind both drivers in their meetings. KRT Lamborghini Racing, the team that fielded two of his three starts, did not record a win during its time in the index, and Kronseder was its strongest driver by rating at the point of his appearances.[2]
