Howard Altman is a club-level driver racing in PCA Club Racing, a national multiclass amateur and professional series. He competes in the GTB1, GTC3 and SPB classes, all fielding Porsches, and has made one appearance in American Endurance Racing, a multiclass endurance championship where production-based cars in Class 2 share driving duties across a season that spans two countries.[1]

Altman has raced for sixteen seasons from 2011 to the present, accumulating 49 starts across both series. He has taken one win and seven podiums in PCA Club Racing. In 2026, his current season in PCA Club Racing, he sits 33rd in the championship standings after twelve rounds, with more races to come.[2]

His regular competitors in PCA Club Racing include Michael Embler, a club-level driver with 61 starts in the series, and Franklin Pray, a competitive amateur with 88 PCA Club Racing starts; Altman runs closely matched with both. He has finished ahead of John Gilliland, an entry-level professional and FIA Bronze driver who has also raced GT World Challenge America and Porsche Sprint Challenge North America GT3 Cup, across four of their meetings, and has beaten Angus Rogers, a semi-professional and FIA Bronze driver with experience in PCA Club Racing, IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge and American Endurance Racing, twice.
