Jason Greene was a developing amateur racer who competed in national multiclass sprint championships across four seasons from 2013 to 2016. He drove spec BMW E30 3-series machinery in the Spec E30 class for NASA and BMW CCA Club Racing, primarily with FL Racing.[1]
Greene took one win and nine podiums across 28 starts, all in the Spec E30 class. His sole victory came in NASA, where he finished 65th in the final championship standings in his last year of indexed racing. He recorded eight podiums from 27 NASA starts between 2013 and 2016, and a single podium from one BMW CCA Club Racing appearance in 2015.[2]
Greene raced in fields mixing amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals on the same grid. He was a regular competitor against Carlos Mendez and Scott McKay, both of whom typically finished ahead of him; Greene beat McKay three times across their meetings. He also finished ahead of Sandro Espinosa, a semi-professional with over 260 starts across multiple endurance and club racing series, on one occasion. FL Racing, his primary team during this period, fielded drivers ranging to entry-level professional level.
